Beginner Group Guitar Lessons

Woodriver Studios is excited to begin offering beginner group guitar lessons as of Term 2, 2025.

Our experienced Guitar Tutor Liam will be running the lessons, focusing on technique and simple exercises. Classes will be 1 hour long within a group setting of 6-8 students.

After warming up students will progress to chords and strumming with the aim of playing through a whole song in a group setting.

Over the course of the term a range of musical ideas will be touched on, such as rhythm and playing melodies but the main goal will be playing songs together.

Currently we are holding these lessons on Tuesdays at 11:00 running weekly or fortnightly depending on demand.

We do have a limited number of acoustic guitars available to borrow for the class if you don’t have one you can bring along with you.

Accessibility - lessons are conducted in the studio with a sill on the door frame into the room.

There is a step at the entry to the waiting room leading to the bathroom.
